AOPA has a course for people you fly with regularly or that are just interested in how to be a good passenger called Pinch-Hitter. It's free to anyone - though you need to create an account to view it. Nonpilot flying companions can take it to learn more about the fundamentals of aircraft control and basic emergency procedures (approx. 45-60 minutes). (Read the disclaimer.) Take the course >>

Heres a link to a FREE DVD on learning to fly from aopa. In their words: it uses video and graphics to answer frequently asked questions about learning to fly, such as: * What to expect on your first flight lesson * What other pilots enjoy about flying * Fun places you can fly * Types of aircraft you can fly * Time and Cost * How to find a flight school near you

I like the navmonster.com site. Almost as good as the AOPA real-time flight planner tool. It requires a download and AOPA membership, but the draggable way points and DUAT integration are killer.
Try www.flightaware.com if you want to see what your flight looked like over the ground. It's fre.e. I posted one particular flight on my blog once, http://flycrj.com/2008/07/29/some-days-are-just-tough/, to show what happen during a particularly nasty weather day flying through the midwest.
It works for both commercial and GA if you had a flight plan and you were on an IFR flight plan. It can be used as a training tools with students to discuss would of, could of, and should of after a long x-country flight.

GATVONLINE.com is a new aviation website that will include a 30 min. show about flying broadcast over the web. The site also has some great aviation links as well as flight planning. Check it out at www.gatvonline.com
